Rodrigo Velasco S. is the Managing Partner of the firm's Intellectual Property area and deals mainly with matters concerning trademarks, domain names, licenses, franchises, unfair competition, infringements and litigation.

Mr. Velasco was a Professor of Civil Procedural Law and Industrial Property Law at the University of Chile's School of Law. He is actually a lecturer of the Intellectual Property Diploma at Universidad Finis Terrae. He has been Vice President and a member of the board of the Chilean Association of Industrial Property (ACHIPI). He was Chile's delegate to the Executive Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI). He is an active member of the International Trademarks Association, the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), and Chile's delegate in the Executive Comitee Executive Committee of the International Federation of Counselors in Industrial Property (FICPI). He is also member of the Administrative Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Arbitration and Mediation Center (WIPO).

Mr. Velasco studied at the University of Chile's School of Law and at the Academy of International and American Law at the Southwestern Legal Foundation in Dallas, Texas, 1980. He has written various articles on industrial and intellectual property, published in Chile and abroad, and has participated as speaker and lecturer in many national and international conferences and seminars related to his specialization, particularly in the United States.

Rodrigo Velasco S. is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
