Of Counsel Bachelor of Laws, Universidad de Chile, 1970. Expert attorney and Labor and Social Security Law Professor at the Universidad de Chile Law School. National Labor Director, Ministry of Labor, 1975 - 1977. Alfredo Valdés professional practice covers more than 40 years providing counsel to corporations in labor and social security matters. This includes, among others, individual work contracts, collective bargaining processes, occupational injuries, unions, and outsourcing. Likewise, he is a renowned litigation lawyer in Labor and Social Security Law cases. Alfredo Valdés has been the President of the Chilean Labor and Social Security Law Society, professor and speaker in his area of specialization at diverse seminars and conferences in Chile and abroad. Since 1982 he is a member of the Executive Committee at the International Society for Labour Law and Social Security, in addition to his active participation in other Ibero American Labor Law organizations. |
