Nicolás works in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law concentrating mainly on commercial transactions and providing advisory services to local or international business enterprises.

Before joining Alessandri & Compañía, he worked at BICE Bank, and in the tax-consulting firm, KPMG Chile.

Graduated with honors, his Bachelor of Laws thesis was entitled "The Contracts of Syndicated Loans" (2009).

Since 2012, he is Assistant Professor of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at the University of Chile.

Nicolás Yáñez is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
