Bernardita Dittus graduated from the Universidad de Chile Law School with maximum distinction. She works in the Litigation Area of our Law Firm and is responsible for the prosecution of civil and criminal lawsuits as well as national and international arbitration proceedings.
In the civil law area, her practice is focused on unfair competition lawsuits within the framework provided by the recently enacted new Chilean laws, and also addresses conflicts on breaches stipulated by the Industrial Property Law involving trademarks, patents and others, including copyright and similar offenses.
Bernardita received her Bachelor of Laws degree upon successfully defending her thesis "Electoral Registration Systems and the Electronic Vote" and was awarded the highest grade. In the academic area, until 2009, she was Assistant Professor at the Commercial Law Department in the Universidad de Chile Law School and she has given Procedural Law courses in other Chilean universities.
Bernardita Dittus is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
