Alan Spencer joined Alessandri & Compañía in 2008. He works in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law concentrating mainly on commercial transactions and providing counsel to business enterprises.

Before joining the firm, he worked at Cariola, Diez, Pérez-Cotapos y Cía., in the Mining Law Area and afterwards at the office of said Firm in the city of Antofagasta.

His undergraduate thesis was entitled "Inheritance Tax: Critical Analysis" (2006).
