Our centennial history of achievements

With over a century of experience, Alessandri & Compañía is one of the most important law firms in Chile. With its two large practice areas, the firm is well suited to assist businesses, institutions and individuals with all their legal requirements. Hundreds of companies, both in Chile and abroad, have received the professional services provided by our team of expert attorneys.

The firm was founded in 1893 by Arturo Alessandri Palma, President of Chile between 1920-1925 and 1932-1938. Since then, five generations of lawyers have provided their knowledge and expertise to both private owned companies and public institutions, and Alessandri & Compañía has become one of the largest law firms in Chile.

Today the firm has over 30 attorneys, all legal specialists and graduates from Chile's leading law schools, with postgraduate degrees from universities such as Harvard, New York and The London School of Economics and Political Science. Several of the firm's attorneys are also university professors and write for specialized publications. The majority belong to international professional organizations or associations for lawyers, business and protection of intellectual and industrial property or bilateral chambers of commerce.
